Everyone has a story…Here’s mine

Hi!!! My name is La Pasion. Let me start with my story. I’m a wife, mom of 3 girls, an ER nurse, homeschool teacher and entrepreneur!!! I don’t believe my life is very much different from millions of moms and dads in the world. I just decided that enough was enough. A few years ago, I was living an incredibly routine and mundane life. My husband and I were like ships passing in the night, seeing each other only briefly to hand off the kids while on our way to our shift jobs. With three kids and full time jobs, there was very little time for anything else. I felt stuck. I had no idea how to get unstuck, so I thought it would be that way forever. After all, everyone I knew at that time had also resolved to the fact that life was meant for work and providing for our families, not enjoying life and spending precious time doing what we love. Don’t get me wrong, I loved being a nurse (at one point) but at the time, I was feeling unappreciated and unfulfilled at my job. I have great coworkers and some patients really make my day, but the job itself was not providing me with my basic human needs of real connection and contribution.  I didn’t feel like I was making a lasting impact on my patients. I truly believe that I was born to help people so of course nursing seemed like a natural fit. I slowly realized that it wasn’t the only way to help people. Also, as my family grew, I came to realize that time with them was most important to me.

A chance interaction with a friend of a friend 4 years ago was the beginning of a series of events that have brought me to where I am today. Today my eyes are open to the possibility of a life without limitations. I was introduced to a network marketing business a couple years ago. I never thought this business would open so many doors to personal development and self improvement. I’ve met some really incredible people on this journey who have mentored me and showed me that there is so much more to life than what I knew. My husband and I still manage our business in the nooks and crannies of our life. Aside from the obvious benefits of leveraged income that we produce through our business, we have learned so much about ourselves as parents, humans and leaders. I have had the privilege of experiencing  inspirational speakers such as Mel Robbins, Tony Robbins, Andy Andrews, John Maxwell and Eric Worre at live events. The knowledge that these people offer has given me a new awareness of my own potential in life. Their influence has also spilled over into my children’s lives.

My dream is to show families that abundance is all around us. Our job is to accept it in every aspect of our lives. This means dreaming big, letting go of our fears of failure or judgement and most of all, letting go of our fake stories that we tell ourselves. You know, fake news? Yeah we’re all guilty of it, not just CNN. I am completely new to blogging which may be evident at first but I’m not afraid to fail at this. If I can provide some value to just one person out there who is struggling to put it all together, then my heart will sing. In my future blog entries, I’ll explore and expose how I keep balance in my busy life including everything from food, exercise, wellness, personal development, homeschooling, work and family life. I’ll also share with you some tips on how you can bring more “PASION” back into your life! I also have so many cool people to thank for their various contributions in my journey and we’ll be meeting them too!!! This is a journey and I thank you for coming along with me!!!
